For the most effective hands-on practice, you may wish to utilize your personal instruments or those from your practice or residency program.

They say practice makes perfect, right? Follow along as our experts guide you through video instruction on different suture techniques. They’ll discuss ways to optimize tissue eversion and present varied suturing techniques with forceps and skin hooks. They'll also cover potential pitfalls to avoid in order to achieve a desired outcome.

Then it’s your turn! You’ll receive a Suture Kit with skin pad to practice on and a checklist to self-asses your work. Each stitch will get you closer to improving healing and recovery times for your patients while helping reduce risk of infection and scarring.

  • Excision Techniques – including elliptical incision, undermining, and eversion
  • Top Suturing
  • Tissue Cones – including alternative M-plasty and flap repair
  • Deep Dermal Suturing – including simple buried dermal stitching, buried vertical mattress stitching and SICM
