Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

• Recognize key elements and characteristics of a high performing board (HPB).
• Translate knowledge of how a HPB functions and apply that knowledge to staff liaison duties for the respective Council, Committee, or Task Force (CCTF).
• Describe the expectations that have been outlined to CCTF chairs and deputy chairs.
• Recognize the role of staff and CCTF members.
• Develop strategies to partner with our members to achieve strategic goals.

Target Audience:

Staff that serve as Council, Committee, or Task Force (CCTF) staff liaisons or support CCTF staff liaisons as well as any staff that would like a better understanding of how the governance structure within the Academy functions.
