Career Launch Course

Session Description:
Learn the ins and outs of building a career in dermatology from those who have been there before. This on-demand course will cover approaches to avoid burnout, navigating employment contracts, and climbing towards leadership.

Career Launch Course will provide you with practical information and the tools to be successful as you leave residency and launch your career in dermatology.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize effective, timely, and individualized approaches to avoid physician burnout and improve wellness.
  • Be able to review and negotiate employment contract terms.
  • Identify attributes to become a leader in dermatology.

Audience:
The target audience is third year dermatology residents and Fellows transitioning to practice (first year out of dermatology residency or fellowship training through year five).

The goal of this program is to help ease the transition to practice for YPs during their first few years out of practice.

We know that YPs need support and relevant resources as they transition into practice. In particular, YPs feel unprepared to handle practice management and administrative challenges.
